In 1969 Motorola Israel developed the first wireless solenoid and the wireless irrigation industry was born. In 1984, Motorola Irrigation expanded its’ presence to the United States. From there, a local group of Motorola employees founded Branif Controls. Branif got its’ name from the Branif Raven of Ireland, a fast, smart raven that can travel thousands of miles.
